I just skimmed through this, and now I feel like throwing myself off a cliff and onto the rocky shore. What a soulless load of junk! Twenty-three pages of features and settings and “100% crop”. It’s so technical that it misses the whole point of photography. When I take photos, I don’t want 26 buttons, three wheels, and an lcd screen staring back at me. It’s about the image, not the equipment (although equipment is important insofar as it it needs to function properly). My favorite cameras only have three settings: focus, aperture, and shutter speed. Perhaps this D600 is a fine piece of equipment, but it just comes off as a little pretentious to have a 23 page review for it. Let’s be honest, it’s a computer strapped to a lens.
